Welcome socialist and independent voters to your local home where radical democracy means freedom and stands for justice. Where economic equality is striven for by example.
The DSPJAX is a voter's media resource and you do not have to be a party member to join, but; you will need to be registered to vote to sign-in.
A main reason for creating an out of party group for SPF Voters is in defense of socialism. Often times people get together to talk about social ideals and this is basically what we do, but in a more informal way. No officers, votes, cadre, or secret list and hidden faces. We leave such foolery to communists and anarchists who like to play revolutionary and quote dead Russians. Instead what we do is open actual books that brought about what we have today and work within a post-Marian era.
Some might ask, "What about the party?" This being the first and obvious question, we have to say, "Yeah, what about the party?" You see fellow SPF Voter, the party itself sometimes has to be defended from the inside as well as the outside. When one side fails they both do. Socialism as a movement in today's world is like a house of cards and needs all its players in place to make the movement strong. There are, however, those who do not agree to agree for sometimes hateful reasons. As socialists we must be beyond such closed mindedness to propel goals forward. Coming together in simple respect and talking about local issues and tactics to achieve our goals is not a hard thing. What is hard? Ideology. Plain and simple, there are those who are more than willing to hate based on one opinion or comment they disagree with to twist whole groups. The more openness we have, face to face meetings, and resolute to bring up our own status we will bring ourselves and socialism to a more respectable place with the mores, rolls, and expectation of society. Socialism should not be a pejorative or feared word. Help us to help you dear SPF Voters to change this image going into the 21st century.
